Amy Nicole Davison

Amy Nicole Davison, age 41, passed away unexpectedly from heart issues at her home in Carbondale on Monday morning.
She was the daughter of Richard and Mary Ellen McNichols Davison. She graduated with honors from Scranton Prep High School’s class of 1997 and received a scholarship to attend Wilkes College. She worked for many years in insurance and customer service.
Amy was a loving and caring mother and daughter. She adored her two sons. She had a big, giving heart and was always helping her friends. She had a great sense of humor and even though she had several health issues over the years, she had a resilient spirit to overcome them. Her laugh was infectious and she lit up the room with her smile.
Also surviving are twin sons, Joseph and John Mihalkovitz; a brother, Rick Davison and his wife, Iris; a niece, Madelyn Davison; and nephews, Cole and Evan Davison; aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her children’s father, Cean Mihalkovitz, who passed away last November.
Due to the current pandemic, private services will be held at Savino Traditional Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 157 S. Main St. Scranton. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
There are no public calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family will establish a college fund for the boys and interested parties can contact Rich or Mary Ellen for more information.
