Angela M. Chicco, 94, of Dunmore, passed away Tuesday morning at the Green Ridge Care Center in Scranton. Her husband, the late Pasquale J. Chicco, died Nov. 24, 2003. The couple had been married for 43 years.
Born in Old Forge, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Cerullo Riviello. She was a graduate of Old Forge High School and before retirement, she worked for the late Dr. Seymour Bachman as a medical assistant.
Angie had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. She was a woman of great faith and loved her family. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Green Ridge Care Center for all of their care and compassion.
Surviving are a daughter, Patricia Redman, Dunmore; grandchildren, John, Patrick and Paige Redman; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Carmella Riviello and Josephine Conforti; and brothers, Gerald, Frank, Joseph, Ted and Jack.
The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore.
Friends may call Friday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment, Old Forge Cemetery.
