Angela M. Glazer, 75, of Scranton, passed away on Friday afternoon in Geisinger-Community Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. She and her husband Michael J. “Mickey” Glazer had celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary on December 20th.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Colger McNichols.Passionate about her education, Angela earned a master's degree in criminal justice from Marywood University and prior to retirement, had worked as a loan officer for both FNCB Bank and Citizens Savings Bank.
Angela lived a life filled with tremendous kindness and love toward others. She was known for her fun sense of humor, unwavering positivity (particularly through difficult times), and caring nature. She was considerate, empathetic, and cherished time with her family and many dear friends. She was always well-dressed, fashionable, and had a beautiful manicure. She loved shopping, “coffee clatches” with her brothers on Wednesdays, and was a Penn State fan through marriage, though she cared much more for the team decor she displayed in her home than the sport itself.
