Ann Marie D’Amico “Tita” Baldassari

Ann Marie “Tita” D’Amico Baldassari, of Dunmore, passed away Tuesday morning at her daughter’s home. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William D’Amico and Helen Kowalchick-D’Amico.
Affectionately known as “Tita,” Ann Marie was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She was happiest being the central figure in the lives of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the living example of love, strength and compassion. She was the glue that held the family together, passing down her faith and traditions through her entire lifetime. Her selflessness and dedication to others was immeasurable. She was witty and had an incredible sense of humor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her children, Dawn Albert and husband, Dr. Mark J., Mia Baldassari, Dr. Elmo Baldassari and wife, Jennifer, William Baldassari and wife, Maria and Jacquelyn Parker, all of Dunmore. Grandchildren, Marco, Zachary and Helena Maria Albert, Nico Valvano, Cabrini Bella Baldassari, William Jr., Luca and Santino Baldassari, Kelly Jr. and Izaiah Parker and Amiyah Walters. Great-grandchildren, Nico Giovanni and Italia Rose Valvano.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou “Pudgy” Genova and a brother, Rocco D’Amico.
A private family Celebration of Life will be held at St. Mary’s Church, Dunmore, Friday, April 14, 10 a.m. Private Interment, Dunmore Cemetery.
There are no public calling hours as per the wishes of Tita.
