Anne Walker Kelly, 87, Dunmore, died early Thursday at home. She and her husband, John E. Kelly, celebrated 60 years of marriage on January 7th of this year.
Born in Pittston, daughter of the late William E. and Mary Clisham Walker, she was a graduate of Pittston High School and the Pittston Hospital School of Nursing. As a registered nurse, she had practiced in Pittston, Scranton, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Dunmore. A beloved wife and mother, she will be deeply missed.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by their sons, John P. of Los Angeles, CA, and William of Fairfax, VA; her brothers, William E. of Kendall Park, NJ, John and James of Pittston, and Patrick of East Stroudsburg; as well as nieces, nephews, and godchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial and interment in Dunmore Cemetery will be privately held.
