Anne Lepri passed away Friday at home from complications due to Parkinson’s disease. Anne was born in Bath England September 25, 1940. She is the daughter of the late Christabel Morris and Arthur Mansfield-Searle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 Years Luciano Lepri in 2006. She is survived by three Sons, Loris (Judy) Lepri, Paolo (Molly) Lepri, Francesco Lepri and a daughter Annmarie (David) Corazzi. Nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Anne emigrated to the United States in 1962 with her husband and eldest son. She raised and educated her four children supporting her husband as he worked long hours in the restaurant business. In 1980, along with her husband she opened La Cucina restaurant in Dunmore. She worked as hostess and manger for many years until she was not physically able to do so due to the disabling nature of Parkinsons disease. Anne spoke Italian fluently and enjoyed traveling to Italy with her husband, children, and grandchildren over the years. Anne also traveled to England on several occasions to visit family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11AM in Immaculate Conception Church, 801 Taylor Avenue in Scranton. Interment will follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow.
Family and friends may pay their respects Wednesday morning from 9-11AM in the church.
