Mrs. Anne Jeanne Juba, age 71, formerly of Dunmore, passed away Monday Feb. 1, 2021 in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Anne Jeanne was born in Dunmore on Oct. 10, 1949. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Grace Gilmartin. She has now been reconnected with her soulmate and high school sweetheart, the late Edward G. Juba. Together known as the Queen and Senior, they shared 36 years of marriage.
She was a graduate from Dunmore High School and a regular at Ragnacci’s until moving to sunny Scottsdale. Before retirement, she was employed by First National Bank and was known to give a mean haircut. She loved shopping, Penn State athletics, and tailgating with friends and family. She also loved spending time with her granddaughters, who affectionately called her “Mame.”
She is survived by her son, Edward Juba and wife, Kimberly; daughter, Kimberly Gilligan and husband, Matthew; and four granddaughters, MJ, Ireland, Katarina, and Reagan. Further survived by her sister, Patricia (Pat) Price of Mount Joy, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Gilmartin.
