Anthony Cavezza, 84, of Scranton, passed away on Sunday morning at home. Surviving is his wife of 56 years, the former Paulette L. Hortin.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Anthony and Pearl Strick Cavezza. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School and received a bachelor of science degree from the University of Scranton. He was an auditor for the Department of Defense and a proud Army veteran.
Tony was an avid Penn State Football fan and a loving and supportive husband, father and grandfather. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Also surviving is a daughter, Christina Cavezza and a son, Patrick Cavezza, both of Scranton. Grandchildren, Dehjza and Uzzyah. Great-grandchild, Carson and his father David. A sister-in-law, Joelle Hortin, Scranton.
He was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph.
