Antoinette "Tootsie" (Bordo) Riccardo

Antoinette “Tootsie" Riccardo, 93, of Dunmore passed away Monday evening at The Green Ridge Care Center where she resided for over 10 years under their loving care. 

 She was the daughter of the late James & Anna Gervasi Bordo. Tootsie was proceeded in death by her husband Lawrence “penguin “Riccardo, and son Ricky “squirrel “Riccardo in addition two brothers Benny & Caesar Bordo and niece and nephew Mary Ann Bordo and Howard Jr Maus.

Tootsie was known for being in the kitchen and took pride in providing a hot meal every night for her family.  She then rewarded herself with numerous trips to her favorite store, Boscov’s, each week. When she wasn’t busy being a home maker she enjoyed lending a hand at her sister’s business, The Greenridge Ridge News.

She is survived by her sister, Ann Marie Maus and husband Howard Maus. Two nieces, Kathy Colosimo and husband Russell Colosimo, and Patty Condon and nephew James C Bordo.  In addition are surviving many great nieces and nephews. 

The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis FuneralHome, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore with a Mass at 9:30am at St. Mary’s Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore.

Interment, Dunmore Cemetery

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday morning from 8:15am until 9:15am at the funeral home.
