Cecilia Christina Marie Davidson, 24, of Lake Ariel, died Friday afternoon after an accident.
Born in Binghamton, NY, daughter of Daniel and Margot Foucht Davidson, she obtained her bachelor’s degree from Thomas Aquinas College in Santa Paula, California, and was currently studying nursing at Baldwin-Wallace University in Ohio. She is survived by her brothers Kevin, Brendan, Andrew and Matthew, her maternal grandmother Carmen Foucht and her paternal grandmother Kathleen Davidson. She also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, playmates, and friends.
She was kind, thoughtful, and creative. She loved sewing, cooking, and making presents for friends. Cecilia was an observant friend who listened well and was a trusted counselor to her siblings and many friends. She was quick-witted and enjoyed lively debates and thoughtful conversations.
The funeral will be Saturday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore with Requiem Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, located at Main Avenue and Theodore Street in North Scranton. Interment to follow in the cemetery of Gregory the Great Academy, Elmhurst Township.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 4-6 p.m. A rosary service will follow at 6:15 p.m.
