Christopher J. “Klob” Klobusicky, 43, of Dunmore, passed away Monday evening at home.
Born in Scranton, he is the son of the former Doris Tellie and the late John P. Klobusicky. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Marywood University and a master’s degree in counseling from the University of Scranton.
Chris had a passion for music and found great joy in following his favorite bands, especially Phish. He was passionate about playing the guitar and had a deep love for NEPA food. He had an engaging intellect and wit and never failed to bring laughter to a room whenever he was present. He will be greatly missed by friends and family.
He also leaves behind his siblings, Jeanne Bojarski and husband, John, Pittsburgh; Caroline Tourtellotte and husband, Jim, Virginia; John Klobusicky and wife, Alana, Middletown; and Joseph Klobusicky and wife, Debra, Skippack; beloved aunts and uncles; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Mary Klobusicky and maternal grandparents, Mike and Jennie Tellie.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Inurnment, Dunmore Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Chris’ name can be sent to a charity that supports humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
