Christopher Michael Musti, 48, of Scranton, PA, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025.
Chris was born on May 22, 1976 in Scranton, PA. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School Class of 1994.
He was a PA State Constable and was the youngest elected Scranton School Board Director. He was also on the Democratic State Committee. He loved talking about politics, watching Penn State Football games with his father, and spending time with his service dog Rosie.
He is survived by his parents Robert D. and Rose Marie Serine Musti; brother Bobby (Lynn); his godson Anthony Musti; and nephews AJ and Dan Garibaldi; niece Amy Garibaldi; and several aunts, an uncle, and many cousins.
He is also preceded in death by his grandparents James and Rose Serine, and Robert and Kate Musti; three loving uncles Enrico, Sam and Jim Serine; and his cousins Vincent and Angie Serine.
The Musti family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Michael Alocci, Dr. Ferdinand Manahan, Dr. Matthew Mullen, and Frank at the ICU and all the nurses and doctors at the Geisinger Medical Center who took special care of him.
Family and friends may call Saturday, February 15th from 8-9:15 a.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore followed by Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Ann Basilica Parish, St. Ann St., West Scranton.
Interment will be at the Cathedral Cemetery.
