Colleen Martinelli Obituary

Born in Scranton, Colleen was a graduate of West Scranton High School, and was employed at Price Rite in Scranton for over a decade. Prior to that, she worked at Weis Markets and JewelCorp, where she met Bill.
She was a true family matriarch. She always put the needs of her family first. Her happy place was at the beach with her feet in the sand. She loved the New York Yankees, Notre Dame Fightin’ Irish, board games, floating in the pool, reading, trying new recipes, and her grand pups, Rosie and Pippa.
She is also survived by her two beloved sons, Ryan, at home; and Eric (wife, Maggie), of Dalton; her siblings, Timmy Miller, of Denver, Colo.; Frank “Buddy” Miller (wife, Barbi), of Newton Twp.; and Debbie Kramer (husband, Paul), of Scranton; her mother-in-law, Delores Martinelli, of Olyphant; her siblings-in-law, Gery “Mert” Martinelli (wife, Cheryl), of Montdale; Dorie Mihalik (husband, Greg), of North Carolina; and Michalene Martinelli, of Scranton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Frank “Buddy” Miller; her niece and goddaughter, Jessie Hallock; and her brother-in-law, Andy Martinelli.
Family and friends may pay their respects Monday, June 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Church of St. Gregory, 303 North Abington Road, Clarks Green. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 11 at 10 a.m. Family and friends may also pay their respects the morning of the funeral service beginning at 9 a.m.
