Corey J. VanBuskirk, 34, of Carbondale, passed away at his home on Wednesday morning.
Born in Scranton, he is the son of Henry VanBuskirk, jr. and the late Robin Spano. He was a graduate of West Scranton High School.
Corey had a passion for cars and working on them. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and the beach. He adored his dogs, Rocky and Moo, their loyalty and companionship. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Also surviving is his fiancé’ and caretaker, Cindy Vogel and her children, Carbondale. A brother, Kyle and wife Lauren, Scranton. Grandmothers, Patricia Spano, Scranton and Ethel VanBuskirk, Greenridge. A niece and nephew, Brooklyn and Kyle VanBuskirk. Several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Olivia. Grandfathers, Peter Spano and Eugene VanBuskirk, Sr.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
