Daniel D. Cleveland, 53, Scranton, passed away peacefully Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown, after a brief illness.
Born in Scranton, son of Daniel E. and stepson of Vivian Cleveland, Scranton, and son of the late former Dorothy Williams Cleveland, he was educated in Scranton public schools and had been employed in the auto repair field for numerous years. Danny was an enthusiastic NASCAR fan, loved riding dirt bikes, enjoyed going on nature hikes with his children, cooking, and was an avid music fan, especially of the Grateful Dead and Ozzy Osbourne to name a few. He will be deeply missed.
Also surviving are his children Jacob and Julianna Cleveland, and their mother Kristi Cleveland, all of Madison Twp.; a sister Kelly Kern, Scranton; brothers Stephen Cleveland and wife Lauryn, Scranton, and Andrew Cleveland, Bethlehem; as well as nieces, a nephew, and cousins.
Family and friends may pay their respects Friday from 5-7 p.m.at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore.
Interment to be held privately at a later date.
