David M. Brown, 52, Dunmore, died from an illness. He and his wife, Diane Sagan Brown, would have celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary on July 23rd.
Born in Ann Arbor, MI, he was the son of Patricia Lawrence Brown, Dunmore. Dave was a graduate of Dunmore High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Science and Chemistry from Penn State University. He was currently employed at MetLife as a Technology Lead.
David was an avid Penn State Football fan and a member of the University’s Alumni Association. He greatly enjoyed playing video and board games; traveling on family vacations to Ocean City NJ, Walt Disney World, and sailing on Disney Cruises. He loved anything Disney for that matter.
David was a loving, caring, and devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, son and friend, who will be missed more than words can express, especially by “his girls” whom he would say “is all he ever needed.” His family was everything to him.
He will be greatly missed for his brilliance, sense of humor, and quick wit. Dave never forgot a thing and he will never be forgotten.
Also surviving are his two daughters: Lauren and Erica Brown, Dunmore; three brothers: Ken and his wife Cindy, Moscow, niece Alexa Brown and nephew Jason Brown; John and his wife Naja, Pittsburgh, nieces Haley Mudd and Cali Brown and Tim, Dunmore; his father and mother-in-law, Thomas and Helen Sagan, Dunmore, sister-in-law, Donna Sagan, Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
The family would like to thank his Godparents, Dr. Salvatore Lawrence and Marty Lawrence, for their love and support during this difficult time.
There are no public funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions may be made in David’s honor to the DHS Scholarship Fund for the David Brown Memorial Scholarship in care of Dunmore High School 300 W. Warren St, Dunmore, PA 18512 or https://gofund.me/c0db59b7
