David Michael DeSanto, 64, of Bradenton, Fla., and formerly of Dunmore, died Friday, June 24, at Tidewell Hospice in Florida. He is survived by his wife, the former Lorraine Antal.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Michael and Louise DePeters DeSanto, he was a graduate of Dunmore High School class of 1975 and was a former member of SS. Anthony and Rocco Parish in Dunmore. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a customer service supervisor with both U.S. Air and American Airlines, and had earlier worked in the same position with MetLife. He enjoyed all sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, the L.A. Dodgers, the Philadelphia Eagles, golf and also enjoyed traveling.
Surviving are his children, Michael DeSanto and wife, Lauren, of Pottstown; Dina Flickinger and husband, Michael, of Morgantown, Pa.; and Eric Pramick and wife, Mariah, of Plains; grandchildren, Lucas Pramick, Aubrey DeSanto, Ella DeSanto, Jaxon Flickinger, Carter Flickinger and Gio Flickinger; his brother, Dr. Jerome DeSanto and wife, Lynn, of Glenburn Twp.; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be Friday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street, Dunmore. Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery.
