Edward M. Conrad, 81, of Scranton, passed away Friday evening at Glen Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Berwick.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Martin and Catherine Weins Conrad. Prior to retirement he was a mechanic at the family business, Scranton Truck Repair.
Edward enjoyed working on cars and built his own 55 ½ Chevy convertible. He enjoyed taking rides, family picnics and going out for dinner. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving are nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
He was also preceded in death by sisters, Ann Davis and Catherine Croker and brothers, John Conrad, Sr. and William Conrad.
The funeral will be Friday from Savino Traditional Funerals and Cremation Care, 157 S. Main St., Scranton with a blessing service at 12 noon.
Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
Family and friends may pay their respects from 10:00 a.m until the time of the service on Friday morning at the funeral home.
