Florence M. (McGinnis Dux) Carlucci

Florence M. Carlucci, 92, of Dunmore, passed away on Saturday at home. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” J. who passed away May 22, 1972.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Bertha McGinnis Dux and was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish in Dunmore. She was a 1946 graduate of Dunmore High School and received a bachelor’s degree in education from Marywood College. Prior to retirement, she was employed by United Way of Lackawanna County.

Surviving are sons; John, Voorhees, NJ. and Robert and wife Karla, Clarks Summit. A daughter; Anne Martino and husband Vincent, Moscow. Grandchildren; Kevin Wisniewski and wife Amanda, Lauren Wisniewski and Elizabeth Martino. A great-grandson; Luke Wisniewski. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother Edward Dux.

A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at St. Mary’s Church, Chestnut St. in Dunmore.

Inurnment; St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
