Frank B. Wrona Jr.

Frank B. Wrona Jr., 65, Scranton, died Sunday at Regional Hospital of Scranton. He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Roseann "Penny" Nemeth.

Born in Scranton, son of the late Frank B. Sr. and Josephine Cigna Wrona, he was a graduate of Dunmore High School, and had been employed as a driver by Allied Services Skilled Nursing before retirement. He also served in the National Guard.

Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking. His specialty was his spaghetti sauce and chicken soup. He had a quick wit and spoke his own mind. He asked for little but gave a lot to those he loved. He enjoyed the many years he had creating memories with his family and extended family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and will especially be missed by his loyal dog, Molly, who loved to give him kisses.

Also surviving are his sister, Carol Kuffa and husband, Charles, Tunkhannock; nieces, Isabella and Gabriella Kuffa; nephews, Stephen Kuffa and wife, Melissa; and Matthew Kuffa and wife, April; extended family, Randy, Alida, Emery and Evan Nemeth; James Kaminski and wife Laurie; Carrie Martin and son, Dale; and John, Kim and Madison Wansacz.

A very special thank you to Kim and John who were very supportive in Frank's care and attending his doctor appointments with him in Philadelphia during his battle with cancer. Penny and Kim were his guardian angels, always showing their love and support. Also, a very special thank you to Dr. Traci Galardi for her compassionate care for Frank.

The funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Interment to follow in Dunmore Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m.
