Grace Naro, 93, Dunmore, passed away peacefully on Monday at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. She was the widow of Angelo P. Naro who passed away in 2012. They had been married for sixty years.
Born in Dunmore, Grace was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Jennie Giannone LoMonaco and attended Dunmore area schools. Prior to retirement she worked at the Globe Store. Grace was a lifelong member of Saint Anthony’s and Saint Mary of Mount Carmel Parishes in Dunmore.
Grace is survived by her son Anthony and his wife Linda, Elmhurst Twp.; grandsons, Nicholas and his fiancé Sasha, Elmhurst and Toms River, NJ, Christopher and his wife Brooke, Lancaster; Great Grandchildren, Gracelin, Sarah, and Evelyn of Lancaster.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Pyone Mon of Physicians Healthcare; Delta Medix of Scranton; the staff at Regional Hospital; and the staff at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11AM at Saint Eulalia’s Parish in Roaring Brook Twp. to be celebrated by the Rev. David Cramer.
Friends may call at the church from 9:45AM until the time of Mass. Interment will be at Saint Catherine’s Cemetery in Moscow.
