Jeffrey M. Jacobson, 58, of Moosic passed away Friday at home.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Murray and Barbara Pesarchik Jacobson. He was a graduate of Scranton Central High School’s Class of 1980 and received a bachelor’s degree from Bloomsburg University in Urban and Regional Planning.
He was the co-captain of the wrestling team during his high school years and was a talented drummer. He had a passion for music and was a collector of guitars. He enjoyed renovating and flipping houses in the hill section of Scranton. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Surviving is a son, Zachary, Clarks Summit. A sister, Bonnie Davis and husband Barry, Oregon. Nephews, Jeremy and Jordan Davis. Aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00am by Rabbi Daniel Swartz at Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore.
Interment, Temple Hesed Cemetery, Dunmore.
Friends may call from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home.
Shiva will be held at the family home in Moosic on Wednesday evening from 5-7pm and Thursday evening from 5-7pm.
