John Earley of Brooklyn, formerly of Dunmore, passed away unexpectedly last week. He was 34.
John was born in Washington DC to parents Margaret Kearney Earley and Timothy M Earley
John was raised in Dunmore and attended Dunmore public schools. He was a graduate of Dunmore High School, class of 2005. He also was a graduate of Penn State with a BS in computer science.
He was also a decorated Navy combat sailor serving on the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Mediterranean and Persian Gulf.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Conner. He is also survived by his siblings Kathleen Springer and husband Kevin, Shelter Island NY, DR. Timothy Earley and wife Katie, Etna NH, Michael Earley, Shelter Island NY and Sgt Eamon Earley, Fort Benning GA
He was preceded in death by a younger brother, Patrick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, December 22nd at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut St., Dunmore.
Interment with military honors will follow in Dunmore Cemetery.
Family and friends may call Tuesday at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, from 4-7 p.m.
