Along with his parents and grandparents, John was also preceded in death by his loving wife of over 30 years, Judy Moss Langan; brothers Joseph, Paul, Robert, Jackie, Thomas, and Gerald Langan; and sister Helen Langan Casey.

His family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Kenneth Tomczyk, Diane Trager and their team at Geisinger 65 Forward for their care and support over the years, as well as the caring staff at Glenmaura Senior Living Residences in Moosic, his caregiver, Adrianna Schwartz, Home Instead Home Healthcare in Clarks Summit, Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore, and the doctors, nurses and staff at Geisinger Community Medical Center.

He is survived by his daughter, Jenifer Toussant, and three grandchildren, Isis Rose, Nola Judith, and Eko Orion.  He is also survived by his devotes sisters, Rose Langan Dowgiallo, and Debbie Langan; nieces and nephews, cousins, and his longtime friends Mari Carroll and John Healey.
