Joseph “Sonny” Moskowitz, 93, Old Forge, died Thursday, March 23rd at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center in Scranton.
A lifelong resident of Old Forge, son of the late Adolph and Ethel Sommers Moskowitz, he was a graduate of Old Forge High School and had been employed at RCA prior to retirement. He enjoyed going to the track for horseraces and was a terrific uncle who will certainly be missed.
Surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; as well as his dear friends Murray Glick and Mark Myers who never hesitated to help or look out for Joe.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Gladys Stahler, Ruth Bodner, Renee Jaffe, and Florence Moskowitz.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 24th at 2:30 p.m. in the Dalton Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Benny Rapoport.
