Joyce G. Walsh

Joyce G. Walsh, 82, of Jessup, died Thursday at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton.

Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late Frank Grisi and Despina Haramis. Prior to retirement she worked as an administrative assistant at DeNaples Auto Parts in Dunmore.

Joyce was an amazing woman. She taught Sunday school and was a hard worker, retiring early at the age of 80. She loved to travel and spend time with family and friends, laughing and telling stories. She was part of a book club, she loved to read. She will be missed greatly by all who’s lives she touched. 

Surviving is a son, Michael and wife Vicki, New Milford. A grandson, Ryan A. Walsh. A great-granddaughter, Kenadee Walsh. A brother, a nephew and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael Logan Walsh.

A service will be held on Tuesday at 12noon at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore.

Interment is private at the convenience of the family. 

Friends may call on Tuesday morning from 10:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
