Kathleen Theresa Haggerty-Keiderling

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen T. Haggerty-Keiderling, age 68, who passed away July 25, 2026 in Pensacola, Florida after a brief illness. 

She was born on August 27, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late J. Robert Haggerty and Lois Culkin-Haggerty. She later moved to Scranton, Pennsylvania, where she graduated from West Scranton High School.

Kathy loved to shop, was often the life of the party, and had a gift for making friends wherever she went. She enjoyed connecting with people and left an impression on many who crossed her path.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Nicole Archangeli (Michael), Darryl Cunard, Kristen Cunard (Jason), Philomena Pizzo, and Samantha Scrimali; her brother Patrick Higgins (Lynn), her sister Colleen Romano (Ralph), 8 grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Kathleen leaves behind a family who carries forward the memories, lessons, and moments they shared with her. May those who knew and loved her find comfort in remembering her in their own way. 

A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the Glioblastoma Research Organization. The family would also like to thank the friends who were by her side during this time: Jitana, Noah, and Christine, as well as Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home for going above and beyond to bring our mom home.
