Kathleen O’Boyle-Lantry of Old Forge (formerly Holderness, NH) died Sunday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley after a long illness. She is survived by her loving husband, Dennis Lantry.
She was the daughter of Joseph and Mildred O’Boyle. She graduated as an RN from Scranton State School of Nursing and worked as an ER and ICU nurse. She loved the beach, music, animals, and fun with friends and family.
Surviving is her daughter Dr. Christina Whittlesey (née Bluhm) and husband Roger, a daughter-in-law Lori Bluhm, granddaughter Emma Rose Bluhm, and sisters Sharon Egan and Nancy Snyder.
She was predeceased by her son, James (Jay) Bluhm.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 17th at 11:15 a.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m.
