Linda M. Arvonio

Linda Marie Arvonio, 63, of Dunmore, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning at home. She is survived by her husband, Frank. The couple was married for 45 years.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Cataldo and Mary Carone Strazzeri. She was a graduate of Bishop O’Hara High School and was a licensed practical nurse.

Linda enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was compassionate and loved to laugh. Her family meant everything to her. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Also surviving are a son, Frank Jr., at home; a sister, Donna McHugh and husband, Kevin, Dunmore; a granddaughter, Gianna Arvonio; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son, Cataldo and a brother, Carmen Strazzeri.

A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Chestnut Street, Dunmore. Friends may call at 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass at the church. Interment is private at the convenience of the family.
