Lisa Pica Tobin

Lisa Pica Tobin, 60, Dunmore died Friday April 11th in University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a very lengthy battle with CLL, SLL, and Large B Cell Rickets Transformation Lymphoma. She was the wife of her high school sweetheart William “Bill” Tobin for almost 38 years as their anniversary was May 23rd.

Born December 11th 1964, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mildred Pica, Sr. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and attended Keystone College. She was the office manager at OK Tire and Auto Service Center in Clarks Summit. Lisa lived for her children and never missed a game or event until she got ill. She was the long-time treasurer for the Lackawanna Mother of Twins Club and loved arts and crafts and making Halloween and dance costumes every year for her children. She had been involved with Dunmore Oilers and the Dunmore PTA.

 Also surviving are a son Travis Tobin, a daughter Kayla Hudacko and her husband Brandon, three sisters, Sylvia Rinaldi, Deborah Drosinski, and her husband Rick, and Dawn Pica, a sister-in-law Marcia Pica, nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her in-laws James and Florence Tobin, her brother John Pica Jr., 2 nephews John Pica III and Mark Rinaldi, and a brother-in-law John Rinaldi. 

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc. 318 East Drinker Street in Dunmore with Mass of Christian Burial at 10Am in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church in Dunmore. Interment to follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery also in Dunmore.
