Lucille Ann Corbo, 76, of Dunmore, passed away Wednesday morning at home.
She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Jennie Schiappa Corbo.
Lucille was a graduate of West Scranton High School’s Class of 1963 and received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Marywood University and her masters from Drexel University in Library Science.
She was a kindergarten teacher for the Scranton School District for many years and then a librarian at Immaculata University. Upon returning to Scranton, she worked at the Scranton Public Library’s Albright Branch and finally in the accounting department at UPS where she retired from.
Lucille had a passion for reading and books. She was a loving and dedicated daughter, sister and caregiver, especially to her parents during their time of illness. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Surviving is her sister, Gloria Davidow, Clarks Green and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Laurence Myer Davidow.
The funeral will be Monday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore with a Mass at 10:00am at St. Patrick’s Church, Jackson St., West Scranton.
Interment, St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Moscow.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5pm at the funeral home.
