Lucille M. (Gianzanti) Kelly

Lucille M. Kelly, 88, of Dunmore, passed away Tuesday afternoon at Linwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scranton after a brief illness. Her husband, the late Paul W., passed away on Sept. 11, 1997.

Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise Cicco Gianzanti and was a graduate of Dunmore High School. Before retirement, she worked for the State Welfare Office as a receptionist.

Lucille had a great sense of humor and had a passion for art and music. She lived her life simply and was a loving, kind and selfless woman. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Surviving are sons, Paul and wife, Elwira, Poland, Christopher and wife, Susan, Arlington, Va., and Ryan, Scranton; brothers, Joseph Gianzanti, Fredericksburg, Va., and Michael Gianzanti, Dunmore; nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a son, Joel.

A private service will be held on Saturday at Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. Interment, Dunmore Cemetery. There are no public calling hours.

Memorial donations can be made to the donor's favorite charity in Lucille's name.
