Mary Ann Cruser, 77, of Dunmore, passed away on Saturday evening at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore. Surviving is her husband, Gerald Cruser. The couple were married for 55 years.
Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late William and Tessie Zimorowicz DeCarlo. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and prior to retirement she was employed by Gertrude Hawk Chocolates in Dunmore.
Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed taking rides with her husband and going to the casino, playing Bingo with her sister and going for lunch or dinner with the girls from work. You would often see Maryann sitting on her front porch with her husband. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Also surviving are her sons, Gerald Cruser and wife Keri and William Cruser and wife Danielle Savka, All of Dunmore.
Grandchildren, Kyle Cruser and fiancé Mia Lowe, Philadelphia, Hailey Cruser and fiancé Brent Ross, Jessup and Zachery Cruser, Dunmore.
A sister, Theresa Reagan and husband Ronald, Dunmore. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and brothers and sisters in law.
She was also preceded in death by her niece, Janine Sibio.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:00am at Immaculate Conception Church,800 Taylor Ave. in Scranton.
Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
Family and friends may pay their respects on Friday morning from 9:00am until the time of mass at the church.
