MaryAnn (Guarnieri) Petrillo

MaryAnn Petrillo, 85, Dunmore, died May 12th at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton. 

Born in Scranton, daughter of the late Charles and Catherine Nole Guarnieri, she was a graduate of Dunmore High School, and prior to retirement worked at Sal’s Restaurant in Dunmore for 47 years. She a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Dunmore, and enjoyed going dancing with her friends as often as she could, which continued well into her eighties. 

Surviving is her son, Robert Petrillo of Dunmore; her daughter Kathleen Mishik and husband Paul of Florida; as well as grandchildren Troy, Felicia, and Shelby; great-granddaughter Chloe; her brother Salvatore Guarnieri of Clarks Summit; and his sister Regina Guarnieri of Scranton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore. 

Interment will be privately held in Dunmore Cemetery.
