Michael Zelenski

Michael Zelenski of Dunmore died early Saturday morning, September 14th 2024.

Born in Scranton, Michael was the son of the late Paul F. Zelenski and Johanna Piraino. He was a 1986 graduate of Abington Heights.

Michael was employed with Caregivers of America and Auto Glass Now.

Michael loved spending time with his beloved family every Sunday and during holidays. He loved cooking, drinking wine and canning salsa with his family.

Although Michael had no children of his own, he was a loving and devoted uncle who cared deeply for his many nieces and nephews. He was loved by all who knew him.   

Surviving are three sisters, Ann Marie Zelenski and companion, Sue, of Mount Cobb, Beatrice Rosengrant and her husband Jeff of Lake Ariel and Rose Zelenski of Dunmore; a brother, Butch Zelenski and his wife Lori of Scranton; nieces and nephews, Paul Zelenski and Zachary Zelenski, Joshua Rosengrant, Krystal Salyer, Ryan Rosengrant, Sheena Cummings, Kayla Zelenski, Johanna Zelenski and Paige O’Hara; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by a sister, Joann Zelenski, a brother, Virgil Zelenski, and a nephew Jeffery Rosengrant.

A memorial service will be held Sunday at 2PM in the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 Drinker St., Dunmore. Friends may visit from 12pm until time of service.
