Mildred Dobrin Davis, 96, formerly of Scranton, passed away on Wednesday at the Horsham Center for Jewish Life.
Born in Avoca, PA, she was the daughter of the late Morris and Tillie Farber Dobrin and sister of the late Dorothy Goldstein and like a sister to the late Florence Block. Mildred was a devoted wife of 51 years to Herman Davis, who passed away in 2005.
Mildred is survived by her daughters Karen Nash (Dale) of Columbus, OH and Jayne Perilstein (Ron) of Narberth, PA.
Also surviving are four grandchildren - Allison Leib (Mike) of Chicago, IL, Julie Mozes (Dan) of Philadelphia, PA, Margo Lipps (Joe) of Columbus, OH and Alex Perilstein (Erika) of Bala Cynwyd, PA.
Mildred was also fortunate to have 10 great grandchildren and many adoring nephews, including Alan Goldstein.
A graveside funeral service will be held Friday, April 21st at 11 a.m. at the Duryea section of the West Pittston Jewish Cemetery by Rabbi Dovid Saks and Cantor Vladimir Aronzon.
Shiva will be observed in Columbus, OH and Narberth, PA.
