Nicholas T. Marzolino, 76 of Dunmore, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, at Allied Hospice Center.
Born on November 2, 1949, in Dunmore, he was the son of the late Nicholas T. and Josephine Pusateri Marzolino.
Nick was a graduate of Dunmore Central Catholic High School and the University of Scranton.
Nicholas spent 40 years as a teacher and, throughout his career, taught foreign languages at Scranton Prep, Devon Prep in Devon, PA, and Green Hedges School in Vienna, VA.
Nick had a deep faith and was proud of his Italian heritage. He was an avid reader and loved travelling abroad.
Nicholas is survived by a brother, Robert Marzolino, and wife Ann of Dunmore; a niece, Eileen Marzolino of Old Forge; a nephew, Bryan Marzolino and wife Kearson of Scranton; as well as two great nieces, Norah and Lilah Marzolino.
The family would like to thank the staff at Allied Terrace Personal Care Home, Allied Hospice, and Dr. Gerald Nealon for their excellent care.
The funeral will be held on Friday, May 8, at 9:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 303 Smith Street, Dunmore. There will be no public visitation.
