Nicholas D. Yacavone

Nicholas D. Yacavone, beloved brother, of Dunmore died the evening of Sunday September 8, 2024.

Born in Throop, Nicholas was the son of the late Domenick and Julia Palucci Yacavone. He was a graduate of Throop High School and was a devoted Catholic. After graduation, Nicholas went on to earn his Commercial Drivers License and worked for EFO Furniture Gallery for many years before retirement.

Nicholas was a loving and caring brother and friend. He enjoyed horseracing and reading the newspaper.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but especially by his sister Marie Yacavone, also of Dunmore.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Josephine Yacavone.

The funeral will be held on Friday, September 13th 2024 with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Dunmore. All those attending may go directly to the church.

Family and friends may pay their respects Thursday September 12th 2024 from 2-4 PM at Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc. 318 Drinker St., Dunmore.
