Pasqual Michael Notartomas, 95, Dalton, passed into GLORY Sunday from his home.
Born in West Side, Scranton in 1925, he was the son of the late Michael Notartomas and Mary Maresco Notartomas. Pat was a graduate of the University of Scranton, served honorably in the U.S. Army Air Corp. and prior to retirement, worked as the Project Manager for Gasparini Excavating Company. He married Antoinette L. Cascio Notartomas in 1956 and for 33 years they resided in Clarks Summit, Pa.
Pat had a great love of listening to classical music, especially Italian operas and reading poetry daily. He enjoyed golfing and is looking forward to a few rounds in Heaven with The Lord. He had amazing abilities in carpentry and could rig up a mechanical invention to suit any on the spot job he encountered. He would say, “I love clamps! They’re my favorite! They do exactly what you tell them and they don’t talk back!” Pat possessed great knowledge and brilliant understanding and love of beauty for the things of this created world but his wisdom was timeless and eternal and his sense of humor was contagious. He was a loving son, a brother, an uncle, a husband, a father, father-in-law, grandfather and a great grandfather.
Surviving Pat are his four children, Patricia Notartomas, State College, Pa. Susan Notartomas, East Stroudsburg, Pa. Gerard Notartomaso, West Wyoming, Pa. and Robert Notartomaso, Perkiomenville, Pa. Including his 9 Grandchildren Khail (and Heather) Kapp, Akasha Kapp (and Paden Faulkner), Arieluna VanScoten, Judahlee Young, and Levi Young (and Luxmi Vadhwana), Ariana Notartomaso, Isabella Notartomaso, Antonio Notartomaso (and Francesca Calautti), and Lucia Notartomaso, and 5 Great Grandchildren Nova Haylin and Ezrah Iris Boller, Zion Wolf VanScoten, Atreyu Odin and Emery Orion Kapp.
He was preceded in death by his oldest brother, Joseph Notartomas and 3 older sisters, Sarah Ciongoli, Clara DeAntona and Lucy DiZinno.
A private funeral will be held at Our Lady of Snows Church, Clarks Summit, Pa. at the convenience of the family and the burial will take place in Cathedral Cemetery in West Side, Scranton Pa. immediately following the church service. (all TBA)
