Patricia A. Figured

The world lost a beloved wife and mother, Patricia A. Figured, 69. She passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Known affectionately as Patty, she was the heart and soul of her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. She raised two children in a home filled with love and joy, alongside her husband, Carl E. Figured, to whom she was married for 53 wonderful years.

Born in Summerville, New Jersey, to Victor and Josephine Stein, Patty graduated from nursing school and went on to work at Clark Summit State Hospital as a nurse until her retirement. One of her greatest enjoyments in life was caring for and riding her horse, Al. She was preceded in death by her son, John J. Figured, in 1995, and is survived by her husband, Carl; her son, Keith Figured, and his wife, Krista; her sister, Diane Stein; her stepbrother, David; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday morning at 10:30 AM at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., located at 318 East Drinker Street in Dunmore. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects from 9 AM until the time of service. Interment will follow at Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. A memorial luncheon will be held at Angelo's Restaurant in Dunmore, PA, from noon to 2 p.m.

Patty was a testament to the power of love, compassion, and selfless service. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
