Paul J. Bistran, 53, Scranton, died Saturday evening at Hospice of the Sacred Heart inpatient unit in Dunmore.
Born in Scranton, he was the son of Edward Bistran of Scranton and the late Margaret “Rhea” Banks Bistran who died Dec. 8th 2020. Paul was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. He enjoyed being with friends, riding his Harley Davidson and spending time outdoors camping and hunting. Paul had a big heart and a great personality. He was loved by everyone that met him. He had several close longtime friends that were like brothers to him through thick and thin, and were there to support him until the end. He will be greatly missed by all he knew.
His family wishes to thank the entire staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore for the care and compassion shown to Paul and them during his stay with them.
Also surviving are his sister Theresa Naro and her husband Sal, Clarks Summit, a brother Greg Bistran and his wife Gina, Scranton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother Eward Bistran Jr. and an infant sister Christine Bistran.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
