Paul M. Magnotta, CPA

Paul M. Magnotta,CPA,  52, Scranton, passed peacefully after a long illness.

Born in Scranton, he was the son of Barbara Topa Magnotta of Scranton and the late Anthony “Tony” Magnotta. Paul was a proud Penn State Graduate with a master’s degree from George Washington University.

His family wishes to offer a very special thank you to Jerry for the compassionate care and companionship provided to Paul. As well as a special thanks to Tony his nurse for going above and beyond in Paul’s care. We can never thank you both enough.

Also surviving are a daughter Celia Magnotta and son Andrew Magnotta both of Old Forge, a sister Cheryl Gerrity and her husband Mark of Waverly Township, a brother William Magnotta and his wife Kathy of Mountain Top, two nephews Justin and Jordan Gerrity and two nieces Carissa and Katlyn Magnotta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday at 10AM in Immaculate Conception Church, Taylor Ave. in the Hill Section of Scranton. Interment will follow in the Cathedral Cemetery in Scranton. Friends and family may call at the church Friday morning beginning at 9AM until the time of the mass.
