Pauline Keating, 76, Dunmore, died Thursday evening in Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton. She and her husband Joseph Keating had celebrated 55 years of marriage on August 31st.
Born in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Doria Micciche and was a graduate of Dunmore High School Class of 1965. She was a member of SS. Anthony & Rocco Parish in Dunmore and prior to retirement had worked at St. Joseph’s Center in Scranton for over 20 years.
Pauline loved spending time with her grandchildren and cherished the opportunities to support her grandchildren at various sporting events, dance recitals and activities.
Also surviving are daughters, Lori Packer and husband Michael of Lake Worth Beach, FL, and Karen Salzmann and husband Russell, Dunmore, sons Joseph Keating and wife Tasha, Madison Township, and Thomas Keating and wife Melissa, Elmhurst Township, grandchildren, Daniel Packer of Lake Worth Beach, FL, Andrew Salzmann and his fiancé Marie Mobile of Wilmington DE, Dale Salzmann, Dunmore, and Haylie and Norah Keating of Madisonville, a sister Gaetana Boezi, Dunmore, brothers Stephen Micciche & wife Carol, Ocean View, DE, and Michael Micciche and his wife Patricia, Moosic, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Carmella Keating.
The funeral will be Thursday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St. Dunmore with a mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Smith Street in Dunmore. Interment to follow in the Mount Carmel Cemetery.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.
