Robert Spencer Everly passed away Wednesday, February 18th in hospice care in Florida. He was 101 years of age. He had been currently residing in assisted living in Riverview, FL.
A longtime resident of Scranton, Pennsylvania he had a successful real estate and property appraisal business for decades before retiring. He was a longtime member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and a Boy Scout Leader in Pennsylvania. He was a lifetime member of Rotary International as well. Bob was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He truly had a life well lived.
He will be dearly missed by Stepdaughter Laura Brundage of Tampa; a stepson David Blackledge and wife Genevieve of Scottsdale, AZ; step-grandson Josh Brundage and wife Erin; great-grandsons Liam, Graham and Owen Brundage; a niece Melissa Garbarino and husband Anthony of Peckville, PA and many friends at The Bridges community in Riverview, FL.
He was predeceased by wife Shirley, wife Wanda, a stepson Edward Thomas Blackledge III and two sons Wayne and Drew.
Interment will be in Shady Lane Cemetery in Chinchilla, PA in the Spring.
