Robert A. Antos Obituary

Robert A. Antos, 75, Factoryville, died Wednesday evening at Regional Hospital of Scranton.  He and his beloved high school sweetheart, the former Gloria Kriso, were married April 19, 1969.

Born in Kingston, son of the late Adam and Florence Selenski Antos, he had been employed as an architect for Peters Associates and most recently had worked at the Dalton Do-It Center, both jobs he loved.  Robert proudly served in the United States Army and he was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Parish in Clarks Summit.

Robert was known by all as a hard worker.  He designed and constructed his homes, and also loved motorcycles and restoring antique cars, especially his Thunderbird, a labor of love for over 20 years.  As part of an antique car club, he and Gloria had the opportunity to travel the Midwest meeting new friends along the way.  He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather who always looked forward to and enjoyed the Corporal Bryon Dickson Troop R Family and Friends Fishing Day held every September.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by their daughters Heather Antos of Factoryville, and Tiffany Dickson of South Abington Twp.; grandchildren Bryon Keith Dickson III and Adam Robert Dickson; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Corporal Bryon K. Dickson II.

The funeral will be Tuesday from the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore, with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Snows Church, 301 S. State St., Clarks Summit by Msgr. Joseph G. Quinn.

Interment will be privately held.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
