Robert A. Jones

Robert Jones born on July 11, 1962, in Philadelphia, PA to Joyce Hines and late Robert Young. Growing up he enjoyed running track He attended and graduated Dobbins High School where his passion for becoming an electrician was founded.

Robert left Philadelphia in 1996 to Scranton, PA to pursue his career as an electrician.   There he met the love of his life, Andrea Warshawsky, at the Jewish Home and they finally went on to marry.

He was a not only an adoring family man but a leader and mentor throughout his community in Scranton, PA. Many cherished his charming ways, gentle smile, guidance and teaching methods.

Robert has been preceded in death by maternal grandparents William and Kathleen Jones, and daughter, Sarah.  

He leaves behind to cherish his memories and legacy with mother: Joyce Hines, wife: Andrea Jones, mother-in-law: Rita, daughters: Courtny, Ashley, Jazmyn, and Kianna, sister: Sharon, brothers: David, Michael, Ronald, and Kenneth, grandchildren: Nathalea, Dantea, Serenity, Arrianna, Janiyah, Leon, Kayleb, Talaya, and Izabella. There is also a host of five sister-in-laws, two brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and other family and friends that will keep his name and energy alive.

Family and friends may pay their respects on Wednesday, April 23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 East Drinker St., Dunmore, with a service to be held at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in the Dunmore Cemetery.
