Robert Paul “Bob” Frable, Jr., 50, of Elmhurst Township, died Tuesday at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton from complications suffered in an ATV accident.
Born in Scranton on January 18, 1974, beloved son of Nancy Randall Frable, Gouldsboro, and the late Robert Paul “Bob” Frable, Sr., he had been employed as an auto body repair technician at Ronnie V.’s Paint and Body in Moosic and was a member of the Jefferson Township Lions Club.
Bob was the perfect example of a son, father, grandfather and brother whose family meant everything to him and he made it known. He was there when you needed him most, and would drop everything to go help someone that needed a hand, no matter if he knew them well or not. He just came when you called him and was ready to assist and be supportive. Bob was a hardworking man who always had a project going on, but still had time for fun, whether it was hunting, fishing, or working in his vegetable garden. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. And everybody loved him.
In addition to his mom, Nancy and her companion John Vogt, he is survived by his pride and joy—his children and grandson: Robert Paul Frable, III of Elmhurst Township, Gabby Frable of Elmhurst Township and her son Mason, David Frable of Moosic, and Jacob Frable of Elmhurst Township; also his cherished siblings Zachariah Frable and wife Wendy of Dalton, Jonathan Frable of PA, Randall Frable and wife Jamie of Augusta, Georgia, and Traci Leidel and husband James of Scranton; his partner Hannah Witherite of Madisonville, and her children Aaron Witherite, Samuel Witherite, and Nathaniel Heck; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many loyal friends. Even in his passing, he was able to help people that he never even met through the Gift of Life Program.
Family and friends may call on Sunday from 3-7 p.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. A service will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will be privately held.
