Ross Leslie

Ross Michael Leslie, 71, of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, passed away on November 7, 2023. 

Born in Scranton, PA on December 1, 1951, he was the son of Gail B. Leslie and Burton W. Leslie. Ross spent his early childhood in Scranton and returned to Scranton to graduate from Scranton Central High School in 1970. He went on to attend Temple University, where he played Division 1 Football. Self-taught and industrious, Ross began his career in the construction industry with Fletcher & Sons, before joining Tri-State Design, where he worked for 30 years, most recently as Director of Operations. 

Ross was a beloved husband, father, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary (née Yudiskas),  Burton (Alexis), siblings, Laurie (Wayne) Leevy and Richard Leslie, and nieces and many nephews. 

Ross was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cindy Houlihan. 

Calling hours will be held from 4 PM- 6 PM on Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home, Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 at 9:30AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Chestnut St., Dunmore. Burial to follow.

Memorial donations in honor of Ross’ passion for building and helping others can be made to Habitat for Humanity. Information about a “Celebration of Life” luncheon following the burial will be provided at the funeral home.
