Sallie Magda Lovenwirth-Benjunas

Sallie Magda Lovenwirth-Benjunas, 58, formerly of Archbald, died Friday at Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard J. Benjunas, in 2016.

Born in Pottstown, daughter of Richard Lovenwirth of Scranton and Susan Trethewey of Easton, she attended Marywood University where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  Prior to retirement, she was employed as an underwriter and caseworker by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Sallie was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin who will be deeply missed. 

Also surviving is her brother, Sam Lovenwirth and wife Jodi of Allentown, as well as nieces, nephews, and several cousins. 

A private graveside service will be held in the Jermyn Cemetery.
