Shawn Michael Farnham, 49, of Archbald, died unexpectedly Wednesday, July 7th. He is survived by his wife, the former Rose Hebden. The couple would have celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary in September. He will be forever missed by his wife.
Born in Scranton, son of the late Howard “Bones” and Helen Baker Farnham, he was a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School. A true farmer, Shawn enjoyed fixing and restoring tractors and had a great passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also was that person that you can call when you needed anything, he would lend anyone a hand.
He is also survived by his Cane Corso, Maya; sisters, Sally Rieg, Melody Rought, Jean Temple, and Judy Fisher, as well as nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Stern and his long-time canine companion, Dozer.
A blessing service will be Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Carlucci-Golden-DeSantis Funeral Home Inc., 318 E. Drinker St., Dunmore.
Family and friends may call Monday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Internment to be held at the convenience of the family in Dunmore Cemetery.
